What is CBD?

CBD is still considered an herbal supplement, please consult a Doctor or medical professional before beginning this, or any other treatment.

Endocannabinoid System

Our bodies contain CB1 and CB2 receptors that respond to CBD by stimulating our own endocannabinoid system (ECS).   CBD can "unlock" healing properties within our own bodies and help ensure all systems work in harmony with each other.  This is also true in animals.

CBD Therapeutics of Wisconsin and MKE CBD provides Leaf Shoppe with three types of CBD Oil.

Here is a brief overview of each type:

CBD Isolate

CBD Isolate is 99.9% pure CBD.  It is 100% THC free.  It will NOT show up on a drug test.  It contains only CBD and is isolated from the rest of the extracts in the hemp plant.

Broad Spectrum CBD

Broad-spectrum CBD is full-spectrum CBD without any THC. It offers all the entourage benefits associated with full-spectrum CBD, without any chances of THC being ingested into the body. Broad-spectrum CBD is an excellent choice for individuals that can’t have any traces of THC in their system.  For instance for legal purposes, passing a drug test for work, or anything else. Broad spectrum CBD contains all of the benefits of regular CBD, but also contains CBDA, CBG, CBGA, CBC, and CBCA.  The Entourage Effect is the benefit you get from ingesting multiple components of the cannabis plant together instead of ingesting one component at-a-time.

“My mom uses the pain butter and finds great relief on her back, knees, and wrists without the use of added pain pills and chemicals.”

Sarah P.

“I was very skeptical, but after my Doctors couldn't diagnose my condition I gave CBD oil a try.  I still get flare ups, but now I can actually get out bed and go to work.”

Vicky M.

Kathy M. from Germantown has lived with PN (Peripheral Neuropathy) for 3 years after chemotherapy treatment for lymphoma. This is what she had to say after buying our 1000mg pain butter. “It works!! It took my body several days to figure out how to react. Now I can rub it on my feet in the morning and at night for relief of the painful nerve zaps and less tingling. I would definitely recommend for others to try it! Thanks for being a great local resource for quality CBD products.”

Full Spectrum CBD

Full-spectrum CBD contains everything the hemp plant contains. Full-spectrum CBD is full of all the terpenes, cannabinoids, flavonoids, and fatty acids found in hemp, all of which have therapeutic value of their own.  It creates and even bigger entourage effect. Full spectrum CBD contains all of the benefits of regular CBD and broad spectrum CBD oils, but also contains 9-THCA, 9-THC, 8-THC, and THCV.  Even though full spectrum CBD contains THC, the amount is 0.3 percent or less.  While you gain the benefits of the THC compound, you will not have a psycho-active reaction.  However, It WILL show up on a drug test.  These compounds can also help with additional conditions.
